"I was a little skeptical about this after reading some of the reviews, but wow, when I received it, I washed out the carafe, ran a cycle with plain water, loaded up the coffee beans, and the next morning I had the freshest tasting coffee I've had in long time. I just picked up some beans at the grocery store that I am sure had been sitting there for some time. I can't wait to use it with freshly roasted beans from one of the local coffee stores."
